What is Therapaws in Nature?

TheraPaws in Nature is our outdoor wellbeing programme, providing opportunities for people to experience the physical, emotional and social benefits of spending time in natural environments alongside our wellbeing support dogs.

Through guided walks, outdoor activities and nature-based wellbeing sessions, we help people reconnect with nature, build confidence, develop social connections and improve their overall wellbeing.

Whether you are looking for companionship, a sense of purpose, gentle physical activity or simply some time outdoors, TheraPaws in Nature offers a welcoming and supportive environment for everyone.

Walkies & Talkies

Walkies & Talkies is one of our flagship wellbeing programmes.

These relaxed, small-group sessions combine the benefits of:

  • Gentle exercise

  • Social connection

  • Nature engagement

  • Time spent with wellbeing support dogs

  • Informal peer support

Sessions take place in beautiful outdoor locations and secure fields, allowing participants to enjoy nature while walking at a pace that suits them.

There is no pressure to talk, and participants are welcome to simply enjoy the company of others, the dogs and the surrounding environment.



Nature-Based Wellbeing Activities

Throughout the year we offer a variety of outdoor activities designed to promote wellbeing, including:
